At Epic Tails, we offer small-group daycare and boarding from our cosy house in Chelmsford. No stress, no pressure, just good dogs, good walks, and good times!

FEELS LIKE HOME. BECAUSE IT IS!

Our home is perfect for dogs who prefer the quieter things in life - whether they're older, a little shy, or simply more into people than busy playgroups. We’re not your typical daycare with lots of excited dogs and acres of land; instead, we intentionally keep our groups small and our atmosphere relaxed, so your dog can spend their day (or holiday) exactly the way they like.

 

But don’t worry, quiet doesnt mean boring! There’s still plenty of play, enrichment and fun, just at a pace that suits each dog. So if your dog is into long countryside walks, cosy snuggles on the sofa and making new pals, then they might just have found their pack!

WALKING

With so many beautiful trails and parks in our area, we love to take dogs on outdoor adventures a few times a day. They are free to zoom around, sniff, play and take in the world in their own unique way.

DAYCARE

Many dogs struggle in large, crowded daycares. Smaller numbers create a peaceful atmosphere where they can relax and enjoy their day. We are all about forming fun friendships without feeling overwhelmed.

We truly get to know and love the dogs that stay with us. They settle quickly in our home environment and have 24/7 company.  We want them to  experience the same warmth and routine they’re used to at home.

Emily has been a godsend for us with our very nervous dog. She was so patient and kind that it wasn’t long before our dog was running up her drive in excitement to see her. We’ve had a lot of boarders who haven’t worked out in the past but Emily has the perfect environment for us
